Meeks Bay and Rubicon Bay

A secluded mountain community located at the southernmost part of west shore before Emerald Bay. This area has a real feeling of “Old Tahoe” with pristine beaches and forested neighborhoods. Due to the rural nature of Meeks Bay and Rubicon Bay real estate, access to this area is more remote and therefore there has been less development over time. Meeks Bay campground and marina offers visitors and locals alike beautiful beach access, picnic areas and more. Several smaller, private homeowners associations feature beach access in Rubicon Bay.
